Kate Haley is a bridal designer based in Brooklyn NY, specializing in wedding dress creation and veil design, as well as offering customization services for vintage apparel pieces and family heirlooms to be worn for any occasion.

Creative to her core, Kate Haley is the dreamy, dynamic designer you'll want on your team for your wedding day (or any other big day for that matter!). With a lifelong passion for the arts and all of the flair that comes along with that love, Kate has always sought to find the beauty in the ordinary and bring it out to shine in its own right. She loves to embrace a range of styles, able to adapt the personal style of any individual to match any and all requests - from the whimsical to the eccentric to the classic - Kate can effortlessly bring your vision to life.

Kate studied fashion design at Drexel University in Philadelphia, where she focused on bridal and evening wear - winning numerous award for her senior thesis collection. After graduation, she spent the summer in Paris where she completed a master class studying haute couture techniques and craftsmanship under Maison Lemarié, part of les Métiers d’Art Chanel. In the time abroad, she refined her stitching and appliqué process, and worked on pleating techniques. Her works were exhibited in the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, part of the Musée de Louvre (in her personal opinion, the most surreal moment of her academic career!).

Originally from New Jersey, Kate has been living and working in New York City for the past four years, and is constantly inspired by the people that she meets and the vibrant city around her. Her professional career in the city started in fashion, and then evolved into working within the home design industry - but she could never forget her first love of bridal design. When her friends and family began getting married a few years ago, she was more than ready to jump back into the world of design, creating memorable keepsakes for her clients for their wedding days.

When she isn’t designing, you can find Kate playing softball around Manhattan and Brooklyn (she was an accomplished pitcher back in the day - she loves being a part of a collaborative team and working with other people!) or in her kitchen concocting baked confections to share with her friends! She’s a cat mom to two of the cutest kitties (Comet and Sokka!) and a step-mom to the sweetest pup (Luna!).

Whether you need someone to take on your most outlandish vision and bring it to fruition, a friend to lean on during the chaos of wedding planning, or provide thoughtful and nuanced insight into your bridal look - Kate is the person you’ll want in your corner. Reach out in the contact tab and she’ll get back to you ASAP!

With love -
